The Negative Modeling object collection was created as a semester work in the studio of Art Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. The primary goal was to imitate industrial technology of casting metal into sand molds. Sand molds were replaced by a commercially available mass of sand in this project, into which I hand-modeled forms. After pouring the casting material (polyurethane and concrete) the objects gained their specific structure and unusual typology.
