new shape solutions and different grip principles that bring
the viewer to reconsider the established canons. The shapes of the pitchers distract from
archetypal forms and move on to new surprising solutions. Pitchers
are created by porcelain modelling technology, gradually building
shape, which allows the creator to constantly reassess the inner and outer
material relations. After firing, the product will show the structure of the gradual
modelling and the touch of the creator. The next step in the discovery of new forms
is a combination of modelled - spontaneous shape with cast - precise
fragments. The objects should stimulate the viewer to reconsider the established
ideas, from utilitarian objects to the idea of stereotypical everyday life.
Project examines the utility object - a jug.
It explores new shape solutions and various gripping principles, leading the
observer to the re-evaluation of the common canons. The shapes of the jugs
detach from the archetypal forms and move on to new surprising solutions. The
jugs are created using porcelain handbuilding technology, by gradually building
up the shape. This allows the creator to constantly re-evaluate internal and
external material relationships. The white color of porcelain allows the shapes
to
stand out and the firing process reveals the structure of gradual modeling and
the
creator's touch. The next step in the discovery of new forms is the
combination
of the handbuilt-spontaneous shape with the slipcast-precise fragments. Objects
should encourage the viewer to re-evaluate common conceptions, from utility
objects to the everyday life stereotypes.
