Author’s design / COPY IT!

„Designers are basically willing to share knowledge, but they have blocks preventing them from using other people’s ideas. However, it is important what context a given product was created in. That is what a designer, as one of many, enriches a known idea with and push it farther.” (Jan Michl)

The assignment for the students of the Original Design subject under guidance of Doc. Mgr. art. Sylvia Jokelová and Mgr. art. Silvia Lovasová (of the Department of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava) was “To Copy, Mix, Steal, Sample, and Improve” well and less well known ideas of well and less well known authors.

(Everything unique had already been here, but we all forgot.)
