As part of the face, glasses are an important aspect in the creation of personal identity. It is how a person perceives themselves and wants to be perceived by their surroundings. He changes his clothes, hairstyle, smell or speech, but with glasses the changes are rarer. They are often custom-made and come with a high price tag.
In her work, the aurtor explores the possibilities of variability in the form of glasses, along with defining the subsequent production process so that they are not just a fad, but make use of the residues generated during small batch or custom production. The method also opens up space for the user's creativity and encourages self-exploration.
