With the “Past and Future of the Slovak Embroidery“ project, I try to reanimate the traditional, handcraft techniques of embroidery and switching them with today’s fashion design. I present the topic in my current collection named “…As Glowing Eyes of a Black Cat”. Najnovšie predstavujem na túto tému kolekciu “…ako žiarivé oči čiernej mačky”. The past and the future, “the black” and light, tradition and innovation – I tried to include all that and more. The models’ meaning is supported by handmade embroidery and applications. My collection was chosen to be among twelve best works from all over the world during the Hand & Lock 2014 contest in London.
