Industrial Design Studio, UTB Zlín / Pairs in Squares

Industrial Design Studio presents an exhibitional project in a playful form presenting a collection of students' products inspired by the "Pexeso" game. The game is a development of a Japanese game entitled "Kai Awase" which connects two cultures - Czech and Japanese - in a natural way. An element of "Pexeso" reflects on every part of the project. Through eight pairs of products made of porcelain, glass, and wood, it shows Czech traditions, customs, and tastes. Our visitors can play the game at the exposition made of unique 16 embossed porcelain stove-tails with images of the products being parts of "Pexeso".
