Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus

Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus met while studying at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague, where they first began to collaborate. In their work, which straddles the line between design and art, they try to find unconventional paths and connections from which they create new stories. They often work with quotation in an original way, but they also know how to be poetically minimal. They founded the studio Jan Plecháč and Henry Wielgus, which focuses on industrial design, furniture, interior design and architecture. Their portfolio includes collaborations with Lasvit, Rossana Orlandi gallery, Mint shop, Luminaire and Cappellini.
