Kateřina Plamitzerová

The visitors of the Fashion Situation within the festival opening ceremony will be able to see the young Czech fashion designer Kateřina Plamitzerová who will present her newest derivation of collection Nihon Lobendau, mixing Japanese and Czech influences. A graduate of the Studio of Fashion and Footwear Design of the Czech UMPRUM, she has already won the Mercedes-Benz Talent 2015 and was shortlisted in the category Fashion Designer at this year's Czech Grand Design. Her signature features are generously and plastically built volumes, shirring and moderate colour tones. The jewellery Mononoke inspired by the Japanese anime artist and guru Ha - yao Miazaki was designed for the collection by Markéta Kratochvílová whose works will be seen at the exhibition Settled Waters.
