Last year's winner of the BADW23 Award for her collection "Fluidity", Maria will be part of BADW24 again this year.
The Fluidity collection is based on the ideas of Zygmunt Bauman and analyses the present and its influence on human behaviour. The fluidity of the times is brought into the collection in both visual and ideological terms. In the collection he works with the form of a traveling cloak, which he sees as a symbol of impermanence and wandering. At the same time, he also sees it as a kind of protection from the world, a social cloak, much like our masks/personas through which we socialise.
At the same time, she looks for inspiration in art and works with concepts such as changeability, impermanence, movement, mirroring, fluidity or fluidity, which are reflected in the patterns of fabrics and in the processing of materials. She develops these themes with the multi-genre designer Michaela Bednar, who works under the brand Puojd, and in this case is the author of the fabric patterns. The collection is complemented by handbags from the Kear store, glasses from the ZITA opticians and jewellery from the Atelier Obejctora.
