The exhibited projects and works were selected during the summer international jury composed of Marlies Wirth (AT), Rastislav Uličný (SK), Adéla Svobodová (CZ), Jacek Mrowczyk (PL) and NCD 2020 curator Boris Meluš (SK). The jury selected a total of 277 works for the exhibition and of these, 51 nominated works in 11 categories: Animation & Video, Books & Publications, Campaign, Books & Publications, Digital, Identity, New Horizons, Cover & Object, Poster & Visual, Typeface, Space a Student design.
The organizers, in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts, have also prepared an accompanying exhibition installation by the Typolab studio from the Department of Visual Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts. It is a space for students to present their semester works in an unconventional way. The installation is a contrasting experience to the main exhibition both in terms of content and form.
