Creating an attractive product from unsightly materials is a real challenge for every designer. And so, felt, which has been inseparable from the cultural heritage of Slovakia for hundreds of years, is ready to see a new era of fame during the Bratislava Design Week 2013 in the Studio of Design ÚĽUV on Dobrovicova st. 13. Brothers Ondrej and Peter Eliáš will present the results of their work with pressed felt of various shapes and thicknesses. The exhibit Felt +presents solitary showpieces and interior accessories, playing with various inspirational sources, attempting to blow a breath of unusual poetics onto each product.Theresultingproducts are characterized by simple, sometimes even archetypalstructures hiding an uncovered message, story or joke.
