The snowflakes from the With Love from Planet Earth collection represent a unified souvenir for the entire planet Earth. The objects formally imitate classic souvenirs, but their interior is emptied and they only offer snowfall in the form of chopped ordinary plastic waste, which is typical for all countries on our planet. The objects entice with their colour and playfulness, but they are also a disturbing reminder of the topic of plastic pollution on Earth.
Rainbow Bowls Limited
The collection of rainbow bowls is a continuation of Silvia Sukopova's long-standing interest in the artisanal use of digital technologies. The objects are created on a home 3d printer using widely available materials. However, the collection brings an innovative method of 3d printing, in which the artist enjoys perfect precision of production and then combines separately printed elements into one object.
Vases by Otakar Sukop
The author of the collection of 3d printed vases is 6 year old Otakar Sukop. Watching his mother, designer Silvia Sukop, at work. Otakar imitated the process that Silvia used when creating other objects. The hand-drawn curves of the vases from different perspectives were then converted into models for 3d printing in 3d modelling software. By jointly selecting colours and materials, a collection of fully functional vases in unconventional shapes was finally created.
