Offered in the digital version, stainless jewellery created by young Slovak architects and designers – Matej Hoppan, Tomáš Tholt a Ján Pernecký – were shown for the first time at the Rese Arch Meetup 2015 design conference. In Slovakia, laser sintering is still a unique technology, using 3D printing of surgical steel. The method doesn’t meet requirements of the jewellery manufactory, because those pieces of body ornamentation are generated digitally by themselves following the original algorythms. Their final shapes don’t depend on their creator’s vision, but on the way the system behaves in the virtual environment.
